Kinder Equinety Cup Recap

  • Renamed “KIND-er Cup” for 2025, moved to Tunica, MS.
  • $150K+ in added money with opportunities for all levels.

  • First Breeders Challenge Qualifier of the year.
    • Finals format changed to a two-round semi-finals system with a 2D split and more chances at money.

Rapid City & Fort Worth Rodeo Highlights

  • Rapid City ($13.5K added)
    • Katie Chism & MF Aces Famous Fling won by nearly two-tenths.
    • Past podcast guest, currently 9th in world standings.
    • Lisa Lockhart, Karson Bradley & Stephanie Fryar (on Fast Frank) also placed.
  • Fort Worth Rodeo Finals Recap
    • Andrea Busby & Born on Derby Day took the win and $20K payout.
    • Megan McLeod Sprague & Jag finished Reserve Champion, rebounding from injury.
    • Kassie Mowry & Jarvis took 3rd, with Toria Madsen finishing 4th.

    • Won big in Denver after qualifying through the Denver qualifier.
  • WPRA Tour:
    • Used for limited-entry rodeo qualification, with select rodeos in each circuit.
    • Top WPRA Tour earners gain entry to major rodeos (e.g., Houston).

San Antonio Rodeo Breakdown

  • 50 entries total → top 4 from standings, WPRA Tour, and qualifier.
  • Bracket format:
    • Top 4 money earners from each bracket advance to semi-finals.
    • Semi-finals & Wild Card payouts provide multiple chances to reach finals.
  • Finals payout: $15K+ to the winner, one of the biggest checks of the season.
