San Antonio’s bracket format reshaped the early WPRA standings, Tucson launched the 2026 outdoor season with a long-go and short-round battle, and Lisa Lockhart officially became the first WPRA barrel racer to surpass $4 million in career earnings during a pivotal first weekend of March.

Beisel paired her Tucson earnings with more than $11,000 from San Antonio and is projected to take over the WPRA world standings lead.


Lisa Lockhart Reaches New Milestone

Lockhart entered the 2025 NFR with $3,874,825 in career earnings and added $110,541.14 in Las Vegas; after clearing the remaining $14,634 needed early in 2026, she officially surpassed $4 million following her Tucson performance.

She is the first WPRA barrel racer to reach the milestone.
