The Colorado Classic Stallion Incentive auction is set to close Saturday, January 17, at 7 p.m. MST, giving breeders and competitors one of the final chances this week to purchase breedings to indsutry leading, or up-and-coming stallions from a variety of backgrounds for a portion of their 2026 fees.

Hosted online aColoradoClassicStallions.com, the auction features stallions eligible for the Colorado Classic Futurity and Maturity, scheduled for June 10–13, 2026, in Montrose, Colorado. Entering its 13th year, the Colorado Classic continues to organize a high-paying event with sidepots, additional incentive opportunities and an open event alongside the incentive payout to multiply earnings at the summer event. It requires $0 in enrollment for eligible foals to compete for life, as well.

The stallion roster includes a wide mix of proven and emerging sires, with recognizable names such as RR Mistakelly, Adioss and Roarr, along with dozens more stallions represented in the auction. Many of the sires featured are familiar to barrel racing fans through rodeo, futurity and incentive results nationwide, while others have crossovers with cow horse or roping sectors.

The stallion incentive is designed to add long-term value for breeders and competitors, with the added bonus of suporting the Colorado Classic race and incentive program, and the stallion owners that participate.

Bidding remains open through Saturday evening, and participants are encouraged to review stallion offerings and auction details ahead of the closing deadline.

More information and bidding access are available at ColoradoClassicStallions.com.
