California Rodeo Salinas WPRA quick facts

California Rodeo Salinas features a four-round barrel racing format: three go-rounds followed by a final. The event is limited to 120 contestants and brings together top talent from across the country. Qualifications are as follows: the top 30 from the 2024 ProRodeo World Standings, top 48 from the 2025 ProRodeo World Standings as of seven days prior to entry closing, top 4 from the 2024 WPRA Tour Standings, top 14 from the 2024 ProRodeo California Circuit Standings, and the top 24 from the 2025 ProRodeo California Circuit Standings, also based on earnings seven days prior to entry closing.
