The 2026 Ruby Buckle East runs August 20–23 at the Georgia National Fairgrounds and Agricenter in Perry, Georgia, with $1,220,000 guaranteed across the futurity, derby, youth, Rookie Ruby and Open 5D. It is the third-richest weekend in barrel racing and the last of the Ruby Buckle’s three stops this year, after the Central at the Lazy E Arena in April and the West in South Jordan, Utah. Ruby Buckle East results are below, updated as each round is completed.
The derby and futurity each run two rounds with an average. The Breeder’s Open — the side race for horses that are not Ruby Buckle enrolled but whose owners hold a 2026 breeding contract to a Ruby Buckle stallion — is a single round with no average. Every division below lists the top five.
The quickest run of the Ruby Buckle East so far belongs to Ceri Ward and Slick Swingin Gypsy, 14.538 in the derby’s second round. Cassie Morton and SS I Am Misty lead the futurity at 14.821.

Morton won the first round in 14.821 on SS I Am Misty (RR Mistakelly x Mcm Shes Slick x Slick By Design), a 2022 gray mare bred by Pamela Smith of Fredericktown, Missouri and owned by Josh P Morton of Jackson, Tennessee. The run paid $8,000 to the owner and put $1,000 apiece into the stallion and breeder accounts.
Ninety-four thousandths of a second covered the top three. Brittany Dallaire was second on Chasin That Dollar (This Fame Is On Fire x Driftin Ballet x Driftinwinner) in 14.857, a chestnut mare she bred herself and owns with Norman Dallaire, and Kappie Bryant was third on RDC Nofunnybidness in 14.915 for owner Kenneth D Lee.
Traffic Guy put two in the top six. Darla Hoover was fifth on CT Sassy Traffic in 14.952, and one spot back in 14.978 was a name worth circling — CT Delight and DaCota Monk, who won the futurity average at the Ruby Buckle West earlier this summer.

Across both rounds, the average, and the Rookie Ruby sidepot her opening run rolled into, the mare banked $28,780 — the biggest haul of the weekend by any single horse. Her sire, RR Mistakelly, collected $2,000 on the average alone.
Joy Wargo and Chasin Tres Cans were second in 29.831, Elaina McKinney and TJR Let It Rock third in 29.984, and OE Bachelor Pad fourth in 29.992 — eight thousandths off the podium and a second big cheque for the Willises.

Ceri Ward and Slick Swingin Gypsy ran 14.538 to win the second round — the fastest run of the race in any class so far. The 2018 black gelding by Slick By Design had hit a barrel in the first round for a 19.716, so a round win was all there was left to run for.
Makin Junior was second in 14.818 for David R Eastwood, and KB Tres Times French third in 14.865 for Chris and Shelley Hayes. Both of those moves mattered once the average was totalled.

Blaise Wheeler rode the 2021 bay stallion (Tres Seis x Damoney x Mr Eye Opener) to 14.844 in the first round and 14.966 in the second — a run that placed 11th on the day — for a 29.810 aggregate and the Ruby Buckle East derby title by five hundredths of a second. He is the only horse in the average’s top five that won a round outright.
The average alone paid $12,500 to the owner, on top of $6,250 for the first round and $525 for the second. Jason and Leslie Willis of Chester, South Carolina both own and bred him, so both columns come home: $19,275 as owners and another $2,410 as breeders, $21,685 out of the derby. Tres Seis banked $2,410 in stallion money off this horse alone.

PC Frenchmans Hayday swept the 1D. Cassidy Deen won it on Outta Clear Blue (PC Frenchmans Hayday x Favorite Six x Sixes Pick) in 14.983 — a time that would have tied for second in the derby’s first go — followed by Frostonafrenchcomet (PC Frenchmans Hayday x Spit N Image x Hileah Streak) in 15.107 and Hayday At Six, ridden by Donna C Murphy, in 15.298. Ruby Buckle 2026: Central and West Results
The Ruby Buckle Central ran April 26–May 3 at the Lazy E Arena in Guthrie, Oklahoma. Brittany Tonozzi and Blazzin The Way won the futurity average in 33.979 for $16,000, and Heidi Gunderson and Wonder If Im Lucky took the derby average in 33.634 for $12,500, owned by Shannon Kulseth.
At the Ruby Buckle West in South Jordan, Utah, DaCota Monk and CT Delight won both the futurity’s second round and the average in 31.818 for $16,000, and Kassie Mowry and Force The Goodbye won the derby average in 31.980 for $12,500.
