This week’s Rundown kicks off with a shoutout to some standout performances before diving into the final stretch of the ProRodeo season, plus covers regional barrel racing events from across the country.
In Ocala, Florida, Sabra O’Quinn and Slicks Lil Amigo clocked the fastest run of the Pac West weekend against more than 800 entries. Amigo, the 11-year-old by Slick By Design out of Bough Chicka Wowwow (by Bully Bullion), is already the top-earning foal of Slick By Design with over $428,000 LTE, and he’s still proving he can win at the highest level.
At the Breeders Challenge Derby, Force The Goodbye (“Jarvis”) moved into the No. 2 spot on the all-time money-earning list, according to QData. With $1,856,569 in career earnings at just six years old, Jarvis now trails only DM Sissy Hayday ($3.4 million). Louie sits third with $1.8 million.

The spotlight was on Mandan, North Dakota, for the Roughriders Cup—the final Playoff rodeo with $60,000 added per event. Despite flash flooding earlier in the week, the ground held, and the competition was fierce.
- Austyn Tobey struck first, winning Mandan aboard TR Lying Badger (“BamBam”), by Lions Share of Fame out of TR Dashing Badger (“Dolly”), with an 18.06 worth $12,938. The pair proved their grit again by winning the next day in Minnesota—this time in a rain-soaked outdoor jackpot with more than 700 runs.
