About Colorado Classic

The Colorado Classic Futurity and Derby, held annually in June is pretty exciting, but the Colorado Classic Stallion Incentive Auction gives owners and breeders access to a variety of top stallions in the industry at a great deal. The auction contributions then contibute directly to added prize money for the yearly futurity, derby, and stallion owners’ payout. In 2023, the event saw a remarkable total payout of $444,000, with $255,886 directly benefiting stallion incentive horses and owners. This success underscores the event’s commitment to recognizing and rewarding stallions and their progeny, with the upcoming 11th Annual Colorado Classic set for June 13-15th, 2024, in Montrose, CO.
