Barrel racing results from Labor Day weekend 2025 saw major wins at the ANHA Shootout, Cornhusker Futurity, Ocala Barrel Blast, Buckles & Barrels for Bailey, Producers Gone Wild, and key PRCA Playoff rodeos.

ANHA Shootout – Waco, Texas

For 36 years, the ANHA Shootout has been a staple for Texas and surrounding states. Nearly 500 entries fought for a shot at Monday’s Shootout Round.

  • Rd 1: Sammie Willoughby & SW The Bayou Bug 
  • Rd 2: Carina Morris & Tres Fabulous Fortune.
  • Shootout Champion: Mindy Holloway & HeavensGotCredit — 16.773, $6,885. Dakota Monk & Seis Martinis were second ($5,216), Cassidy Deen & Buggin to be Assured third ($3,964).
  • Division Champs:
    • 2D: Katelyn Ohlesby & Upforaling — $5,216
    • 3D: SR Lori Darlin & Jacie Stiles — $3,964
    • 4D: Amanda Slaughter & Wagon Ful of Coronas — $2,921
  • Poles: Lynden Lansford & Miss Peeka — 19.981, $1,703.

Cornhusker Futurity – McCook, Nebraska

Small but mighty, the Cornhusker Futurity continues to punch above its weight with $25,000 added to the futurity and deep sidepots.

  • Rd 1 Futurity: Kelcey Haas McNamee & Rockin Desert Rose — 15.196, $2,270.
  • Rd 2 Futurity + Average: Jessica Leach & Aint an Angel — 15.0, $2,270 + $3,302.
  • Highlights: Kelcey also placed reserve with Silkyman Got Chrome, a colt she and her husband Cole started themselves. Carley Cervi won the warm-up open, and Dusky Lynn Hall took multiple open wins plus the Amateur Futurity Average on Iaintdoinitsparky.

Ocala Barrel Blast – Florida

With $10K added youth, $15K added teen, and $5K added open races, Ocala delivered a deep weekend of competition.

  • Friday Open: Trish Tonn & Fantastic Beast — $656.
  • Saturday Open: Macy Brown & TS Loras Guy Stinson — $1,514 + $2,584 High Stakes rollover.
  • Sunday Open: Margo Crowther & Prisonerr.
  • Youth: Sean Miller & Spirit Ta Corona (Rd 1), Sofia Rosenberger & Te Top Hot Te (Rd 2), and Stella Crowther with Saylors Packin Fame winning the Youth Championship.
  • Teen: Rhaylen Maloy & Wee Feelin French — Finals win, 15.821 for $1,329 (fastest time of the weekend).

Buckles & Barrels for Bailey – Las Vegas

A South Point classic with limited daily entries, Bailey’s is a must-watch every year.

  • Haley Wolfe stacked wins all weekend with H L PopatopagainAE Fabulous Fame, and AE Blazin Fame Queen, highlighted by a $5,569 High Stakes win.
  • Jaida Woody & Moola La set the fastest time of the weekend (14.285) and added $5,384 in the Mini Million.
  • Sunday: Saige Hartman & Sophistacedquintan — $4,394.
  • High Stakes: Vanessa Padilla & Smooth Hershey High (2D champ), Kristie Moore & Genuin Smoke N Whizky (3D champ).

Producers Gone Wild – Moses Lake, Washington

The 16th annual event delivered $7,500 added each day plus a fun slot race.

  • Saturday Open: Janell Bourma & CB French Bully Fame — 15.170, $1,346.
  • Sunday Open: Tori Johnson & So Frostin Epic — plus the average.
  • 3/4D Slot Race: Dana Gregg & BeerstandCowboy — $1,620.

Rodeo Highlights

  • Plains, MT: Katelyn Scott & Peanut Seed — win, $1,741.
  • Walla Walla, WA: Three-way tie — Makenzie Mayes, Hayle Gibson, Jamie Olsen — each $4,947.
  • Ellensburg, WA: Summer Kosel & Apollo — Short Round win, 16.99, taking the average.
