The top 23 athletes in the Playoff Series standings as of Aug. 19, along with the NFR Open champion, advanced to Puyallup. From there, the top four finishers in Puyallup will earn berths to Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Sept. 26–28. The event will pay $11,000 to win a round and $30,000 to the finals champion, making it one of the most influential stops of the regular season.
Field Movement
Several top-ranked names, including Kassie Mowry, Hailey Kinsel, Emily Beisel, Carlee Otero, and Julie Plourde, were secure in the standings prior to the cutoff. For others, last weekend’s slate of Playoff rodeos before entries closed at Caldwell, Gooding, Canby and Burley proved decisive.
