Kelly Kaminski and her big, gray gelding Rockem Sockem Go were a symbol of the 2000s, and fans knew when they saw Kaminski in a bright-colored shirt with fringe fly into the arena with Rocky that they were about to witness a great run.
Kaminski captivated the rodeo world in the early 2000’s winning two straight reserve world championships, followed up by back-to-back world titles. Kaminski joined The Money Barrel to tell the story of Rocky and how their partnership started with a $500 broodmare purchase and ended as one of the most legendary duos in rodeo history.
Kaminski has continued to make an impact on the barrel racing industry long after Rocky’s running days, creating her KK Run for Vegas Youth Championships, training colts and traveling with her daughter, Kenna.
