The 70 Ranch Lineup
Kicking things off on Thursday at the Solo Select Thanksgiving Sale will be the highly anticipated 70 Ranch lineup of 60 horses that embody their commitment to crossing star mares on stallions that present genetic outliers across various Western disciplines, keeping outcrosses alive across events. They’ll be offering a blended class of embryos, weanlings, yearlings and mares.
Magic Cross Spotlight: Barrel racers, pay close attention to Lot 30, “Running Ablaze.” The 2024 sorrel colt is by Blazin Jetolena and out of Runninferfame by Dash Ta Fame and out of producing mare Sonitahick, representing arguably the most sought after cross in barrel racing going in 2024.
Note: Other BJO x Dash Ta Fame crosses you might know include Famous Lil Jet, “Rollo,” and Jets Top Gun, “Benny.”
Barrel racers can expect to see a strong lineup of Feel The Sting progeny, beginning at Lot 18 with an embryo out of Fiestas Dynasty daughter, Fiesta Got Feelins.
Lot 35: Ants N My Pants is a 2024 sorrel colt by Feel The Sting and out of the NFR qualifying mare, Sand In My Socks or “Sandi,” by BHR Frenchies Socks.
Lot 36: Stuck It To Ya, the 2024 filly by Feel The Sting is out of Streaking Images, the Pyron Six daughter who has been on the trailer heading to the Thomas & Mack on Cheyenne Wimberley‘s winning string, and boasts over $100,000 in LTE.
Another star mare in the 70 Ranch lineup is Designer Ruby, by Designer Red. With progeny earnings topping $500,000, Designer Ruby is the dam of Hell On The Red, Kylie Weast’s star NFR mount, and DesignerLeapToHeaven, who won the 2023 BFA $uper$takes beneath Brian Wheeler.
