NBHA Youth World – Perry, GA
The NBHA Youth & Teen World Championships once again proved to be one of the largest youth barrel racing events in the world, with over $100,000 added and more than 2,200 total entries between the Youth and Teen divisions.
In the Youth division, Addison O’Leary and JR Kingsman set the tone in Round 1 with a 14.701. Lily Lewis and PS Guys On A High took Round 2 by nearly two-tenths with a 14.597. In the finals, Gracelee Breazeale on Holy Flitin Fireman (by JL Dash Ta Heaven x Flitin Firen Cash) edged out Lewis to win the Youth World title. Division championships went to Kinlee Reagan (2D), Raelinn Exheverri (3D), Raelyn Hamilton (4D), and Karsyn Murray(5D).
The Teen division brought just as much heat. Pressley Green kicked off with a first-round win on Lovininthefastlane, then sealed her second consecutive Teen World Championship aboard Sissys Slick Design. Both horses share the dam Sissys Little Coin. Lacy Kimbell won Round 2 on JJ Blazzin Carizzo, while Teen division titles went to Jaley Smith(2D), Sarah Boothe (3D), Jaylen Wilkerson (4D), and Addi Page (5D).

Cheyenne Frontier Days & Utah Rodeos
From the “Daddy of ’em All” in Cheyenne to the Gold Medal stage in Salt Lake City, Utah rodeos offered high drama and arena records.
At the Days of ’47 Rodeo in Salt Lake City, Carlee Otero and Regina George set an arena record in their performance round (16.70) before returning with a 16.84 to win the gold medal and $18,000. Katie Halbert on Le Roi earned silver, and Halyn Lide on Keeper claimed bronze.
Spanish Fork lived up to its reputation as one of the toughest summer one-headers. Hailey Kinsel and Sister smashed the arena record with a 16.57 on a full standard pattern, worth $14,279 — just .01 off their own WPRA standard pattern record from the 2020 NFR. Paige Jones and Lisa Lockhart followed in the standings.
In Ogden, Wenda Johnson and Steal Money posted the only 16-second run (16.89) to win $13,942 in a stacked field that included Michelle Alley, Carlee Otero, Hailey Kinsel, Kassie Mowry, and Brittany Pozzi Tonozzi.
