  • Amberleigh Moore and Tres Dark Tigress added another futurity title to their resume, placing second in both rounds to win the average.
  • Jordan Bailey and Ima Girl Fame swept the Derby and Open, continuing a strong spring season.
  • Peewee standout: Eva Gow won the 74-entry MVP Peewee 4D Championship.

UBRA Heber Futurity and Open – Heber City, Utah

Courtney McCracken and Aint Seen Burnin Yet captured their first futurity average title.

  • The buckskin paint gelding is by Aint Seen Nothin Yet and out of a Spots To Burn mare.
  • Amanda Butler and TS Kissem Goodbye clocked the fastest time of the weekend, a 15.878.
  • The Target Race paid $1,000 to Shayla Giles and Fishin Fast for running two times within .014 seconds of each other.

Shawnee Shootout – Shawnee, Oklahoma

A $30,000-added weekend brought major payouts across divisions.

  • Kim Squires and Dashers French Guy won the Open, Seniors, High Stakes, AQHA sidepot, and earned more than $6,700.
  • Emily Beisel, sidelining Chongo after an injury, rebounded with wins on Vanila Gorilla and Pipewrench.
  • Alona James and VF Peanut Stinson placed second in the Open on Sunday.

Panty Raid Futurity – Springfield, Ohio

William Ball and Red As Hale swept both barrel racing and pole bending futurity titles.

  • The pair won the NPBA pole bending futurity with times in the 19.5s and took the 4-year-old BFA barrel futurity average title.
  • Haley Fauste and Eddies Rolling Stone won the second round of the futurity.
  • The Kandyman progeny had a dominant showing across classes, with wins from French Bling N Kandy, Cathys Kandy, and The Kandy Maker.
  • Youth and Peewee Slot champions included Moriah Hartman and Braia Vogel.

San Angelo Rodeo – San Angelo, Texas

Kassie Mowry and CP He Will Be Epic claimed the San Angelo short round and aggregate title.

  • Mowry clocked a 14.02 in the finals after winning Round 2 with a 14.01, earning more than $20,000.
  • The win mirrors her 2017 sweep of San Angelo and Houston with FireWaterMakesMeHappy.
  • Alyssa Urbanek Wade finished second in both the finals and aggregate, earning over $18,000.

Red Bluff Round-Up – Red Bluff, California

With $22,000 added, the two-run format drew strong competition.

  • Madison Camozzi and Little Red Rosie won Round 1.
  • Leslie Smalygo and Gus took Round 2.
  • LaTricia Duke and Vanilla Wafer earned second in both rounds and won the aggregate, earning $9,082.
