The final month of the 2025 ProRodeo regular season is underway, and barrrel racers are concentrated in the Northwestern United States at rodeos like Ellensburg and Walla Walla, Washington, as they battle for a spot to the 2025 National Finals Rodeo.

The breakdown: ProRodeo Recap
Summer Kosel (No. 18) and Katelyn Scott (No. 17) both had clutch weeks in ProRodeo thanks to standout performances at Ellensburg Rodeo across three rounds. Kosel notched the aggregate win at Ellensburg, while Scott captured a round win and aggregate placing. Kosel and Firewaterfrenchfame also placed in Walla Walla, Washington, to accumulate $9,138. Meanwhile, Scott also took the win in Plains, Montana, and picked up a check in Filer, Idaho, for a $9,534 week. With the previous bubble at $101,443, Scott and Kosel’s projected $95,241 and $94,827, respectively, will apply pressure as they reach the $100,000 mark.
Notably, Emily Beisel relied on her trio of yellow horses to accumulate a cool $7,299 in the World Standings and inch closer to Kassie Mowry’s No. 1 position. Hayle Gibson-Stillwell also played defense, banking $7,560 to defend her No. 9 position.
No. 19’s Paige Jones also had a solid week, crossing $91,000 in earnings. This isn’t Jones’ first time riding the bubble race—it’s looking close to a repeat of her 2023 run, when she locked down the No. 15 spot in exciting fashion at the end of the regular season en route to her first NFR.
Resistol Rookie contender Makenzie Mayes (No. 26) posted a $7,200+ week, placing across three rodeos and widening the gap between herself and No. 2, Emma Kate Parr, who entered one below Mayes in the World Standings.
