Entries are open for The Patriot Reno Barrel Race on June 25, giving barrel racers the opportunity to compete at $20,000 in added money alongside the iconic Reno Rodeo.

The Patriot Reno barrel race will offer an Open 4D competition inside the Reno Sparks Livestock Center. Capped at 250 entries in the Open, the $750 high-stakes entry fee race will feature 80% payback, and slots are quickly filling. There’s also a 19 & Under Young Guns race with rollover options from the Open. Additionally, youth athletes can enter the 19 & Under Patriot Vegas or Fort Worth qualifiers.

“We’re so thrilled to give barrel racers of all ages and skill levels the chance to compete during such an iconic event in Reno,” said TC Long, Equine Network’s Barrel Racing Events Director. “Chuck Dunn will be on the ground, the payout is going to be deep and it’s going to be a great time. I think the barrel racers are going to enjoy the new changes we’re rolling out in 2024 as we constantly try to improve The Patriot, Young Guns and Hooey Jr. Patriot events.”
