The official team rosters for Kid Rock’s Rock N Rodeo have been released, and fans can now see which athletes will compete at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, this May.
Six teams made up of top rodeo athletes will compete for a share of the massive payout, including some of the best barrel racers in the sport. Five teams were drafted in advance, while the sixth—known as the Free Riders—will be made up of top finishers at Rodeo Corpus Christi. The Free Riders team will be filled by the top two finishers in each discipline at Rodeo Corpus Christi who are not already drafted to one of the five teams above. These athletes will earn their shot at glory by qualifying through WCRA competition, not by draft.
The Free Riders shocked fans in the inaugural Rock N Rodeo by going from underdogs to champions, proving that opportunity and momentum are powerful forces in the arena.
