The richest women’s-only rodeo in history—the $802,000 Women’s Rodeo World Championship—returns to Fort Worth and Arlington, Texas, this week May 12–14, and May 17, 2025. More than 300 of the most elite cowgirls in the world will compete at the WRWC for coveted world titles and life-changing payouts.

How’s the WRWC pay?
Each WRWC event champion will earn a minimum $60,000, while the All-Around Champion will collect a $20,000 bonus. The world champions will also receive a $5,000 bonus per leaderboard. WRWC is a culmination of a year-long race of women’s rodeo events worldwide.

WRWC Format
The Pro and Challenger barrel racing will both feature up to 44 athletes competing across two rounds. The Top 20 from the Pro Leaderboard, up to 12 winners from the Qualifier Series and up to 12 Last Chance qualifiers will compete in the Pro division. In the Challenger division, the Top 20 from the Challenger Leaderboard, up to 12 winners from the Qualifier Series and up to 12 Last Chance qualifiers will compete.
For both the Pro and Challenger divisions, the two fastest times from Round 1, two fastest times from Round 2 and the eight fastest athletes in the aggregate on two head will advance to the Semi-Finals. The Semi-Finals will have up to 16 athletes in both divisions competing in one round. The Semi-Finals will also include the Top 4 from the leaderboards.
The athletes that win the Semi-Finals, plus the two fastest times from the three-head average will advance to the Championship Round. The Championship Round will be one round of competition with seven ladies competing.
And don’t forget the Limited Barrel Racing. Up to 120 ladies will compete across one round with a 4D format. The Top 50 from the leaderboard, up to 12 from the Qualifier Series and up to 12 from the Last Chance Qualifier will have a chance to compete. The fastest time overall will advance directly to the Championship Round.
There is also a Buy Back Round where all athletes are allowed to compete to better their time. The fastest Limited time will not be decided until after the Buy Back Round.
