Mountain States Circuit Finals – Loveland, Colorado
At the Mountain States Circuit Finals Rodeo, Brittany Pozzi Tonozzi locked in her 2025 circuit championship aboard Sir Epic, a 2017 gelding by Epic Leader, and still grabbed two round wins to cap the season. Karson Berger captured the average championship aboard Margaret Jones’s buckskin mare Smooth Money Raider (“Pancake”), while Loralee Ward and Florari won Round 2.
Xtreme South Jordan – Utah
The Xtreme South Jordan barrel race wrapped up its summer series with $1.3 million paid out across four events. Edria Day broke the South Jordan arena record aboard her derby mare Squirt of Fame with a 15.596, then backed it up with another 1D win in the Mini Million. Hailey Krahenbuhl and Saaul Good ran a 15.614 to win Saturday’s Open, while Jordynn Knight and Heza Swift Spyder were among three riders who also surpassed the previous arena record.
Top Shelf Breeders Futurity – Oklahoma
The Top Shelf Breeders Futurity in Oklahoma offered more than $100,000 added money and a 3D payout structure. Jordan Bailey and Ima Girl Fame swept both rounds of the Derby and the Breeders sidepots, while Amberleigh Moore’s Tres Dark Tigress claimed the 1D Futurity Average title.
Shawnee Classic – Shawnee, Oklahoma
The Shawnee Classic barrel race packed over 2,000 total runs into three days of competition. Ivy Saebens and KN Fabs Gift to Vegas (by French Streaktovegas) won Friday’s Open, Alona James piloted XF Tres of Heroine to Saturday’s top time, and Randee Hedrick’s Smoothie took the Sunday victory. The event included a $10,000 youth average bonus presented by Seth Wadley Auto Group.
Elder Dodge Shootout – Athens, Texas
The Elder Dodge Shootout brought an NFR-style format to Athens, Texas, highlighted by blistering times from 2025 NFR qualifiers. Katelyn Scott and Justa DTF Frenchman ran a 13.529 and 13.583 to win both Open rounds, while Mindy Hollowey and Heavens Got Credit topped the High Roller 1D for $7,586.
November Deadlines and Reminders
November 1 marks the deadline for Future Fortunes and Young Guns League enrollments before late fees apply. Entries also open November 4 for the San Antonio Qualifier in Uvalde, Texas, where the top 10 from the two-run average advance to the 2026 rodeo.
