World Championship Junior Rodeo Barrel Racing, Pole Bending Results 2024

The highly anticipated Cinch World Championship Junior Rodeo is taking place in Guthrie, Oklahoma’s Lazy E Arena July 23-28, 2024, and we’re keeping you updated on all the barrel racing and pole bending action from the WCJR youth rodeo event.

What is the WCJR?

DY Rodeo, WCRA Rodeo’s Youth Rodeo Arm hosts a minimum of four events per year and has paid out almost $1 million to youth athletes since 2021. Each season concludes at the World Championship Junior Rodeo.

Athletes could be seeded into the Semifinals round through their nominations and their position in the leaderboards leading up to the WCJR, or enter into the qualifying rounds to earn their semifinals position.

The WCJR barrel racing is set to pay $36,880 in the Junior barrel racing section and $13,600 in the Youth barrel racing division throughout the week in Guthrie. In the pole bending, the Junior payout is $20,640 and Youth rings in at $10,000. The total event payout is projected at $389,920 in 2024.
