How are they already in?
Athletes can earn a generic qualification to the 2024 WRWC by participating in Qualifier Series events. The Qualifier Series is a string of events held before the 2024 WRWC where athletes who nominate and place in the top spot in their discipline at the qualifier will earn a generic qualification to the 2024 WRWC. Positions earned automatically place the athlete in the Qualifying Round of the WRWC, regardless of leaderboard position. There are eight Qualifier Series events, each including a challenger and pro classification.

How can I get qualified?
There are two ways to get qualified for the 2024 WRWC: nominate or qualify through a Qualifier Series event.
An athlete can nominate their efforts and earn points through the VRQ to earn a spot on the 2024 WRWC Leaderboard. The nomination period closes April 14, 2024. The top 20 from the leaderboard will qualify. An athlete needs to register as a user in the VRQ; no membership dues or fees are required.
There are also two more Qualifier Series events for barrel racers:
- Come and Take It Barrel Race, Dec. 28-31, 2023, Bryan, Texas
- Bizzy Bee Stone Oak Barrel Bash, Feb. 23-25, 2024, Stephenville, Texas
