The second day of the Pink Buckle Open brought the heat in a big way inside the Lazy E Arena on October 8—not only did multiple 16.5-second runs rollover from the derby and futurity earlier in the week to clinch the win, but over 500 horses ran on Sunday and turned in wicked-fast times in pursuit of the $1.35 million payout.
