Entries close on March 17 for the first leg of Ruby Buckle barrel racing events, featuring a guaranteed payout of $1,255,000 in Guthrie, Oklahoma, on April 26-May 4.
“We’re featuring more opportunities than ever before for barrel racers to make money in the arena, enjoy hospitality and community, plus free run delivery and a massive spotlight with Amy Wilson on the EQN Sportsdesk.”
Kayla Jones, Director of Pink and Ruby Buckle Marketing and Communications
After the March 17 cutoff, late entries will ring in at double the cost of the original class entries across the board.
Among the classes offered to riders in 2025, the $600,000 equal-payout Open 5D will offer competitors at all levels of competition the chance to cash in—a new format in 2025, provided thanks to the feedback of stakeholders. In 2025, first-time Ruby Buckle competitors have the opportunity to compete in the $35,000 Rookie Ruby class.
