Keep up with which barrel racers won the year-end and circuit finals titles in the Turquoise Circuit at the close of the 2024 ProRodeo regular season for the ladies of the WPRA.
At the Turquoise Circuit Finals in Camp Verde, Arizona, on Nov. 1-2, Katelyn Scott showed up on her horse “Baby Cakes,” and showed out to earn the aggregate title. She won the first round, worth $2,331 in the fastest time of the event overall, 17.39 seconds. She returned to win the second round in 17.55. A solid Round 3 showing clinched the $3,497 aggregate win on three runs in 52.78 seconds.
In the year-end race, Christina Gould entered the circuit finals in the No. 1 position in the standings with $16,798 on the board. But across three rounds in Camp Verde, No. 3 contender Shannon Griffin placed in all three rounds of competition and the aggregate to bank $6,119 and surpass Gould in the year-end conversation. She finished the year with her NFR Open position clinched and $18,433 won on the season.
