Bucks Hancock Dude’s reputation as a sire and performer is as impressive as the dappled buckskin himself.

Joining Reliance Ranches from Namgis Quarter Horses, Dude is a key piece of Reliance’s strategy to grow their performance breeding program by adding a solid cross on their race-bred mares.

The 2008 AQHA All Around Performance Stallion was shown in halter, tie-down roping and heeling, earning accolades in each discipline and 553 AQHA points. The 2007 AQHA Reserve World Champion in Junior Tie-Down Roping, he also won the NRHFA Futurity the very same year.

As a sire, Dude’s progeny continue to accumulate AQHA World Show appearances across several roping disciplines and barrel racing. With total progeny earnings of $1.7 million and climbing, Dude’s most famous foal is Namgis D 33, aka Chongo, who has earned $933,008 while helping Emily Beisel make seven NFRs.

“He is a proven performer and producer. He is the original all-around rope horse who can go from tie down to halter and excel at both,” said Lazy E Ranch Manager Monty McNair. “His progeny are highly decorated in the performance arena and will continue to dominate the competition regardless of discipline.”
