To make the cut and be among the top 15 barrel racers headed to the 2022 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo, happening December 1-10, 2022, in Las Vegas, Nevada, it appears as if ProRodeo regular-season earnings needed to get there could easily be upwards of $80,000. As we inch closer to the end of the season, which culminates on the final day of September, ProRodeo’s best barrel racers are covering the miles and laying down skillful performances in order to be among that elite set of 15 bound for Vegas.

This week, we took a look at the ladies ranked from No. 11 to No. 20 in the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association World Standings as of August 15 and added their earnings from the August Week 3 ProRodeo Tracker to see who made the biggest moves as reflected in the latest WPRA World Standings, dated August 22, 2022.

Southeastern Circuit cowgirl Margo Crowther, of North Fort Myers, Florida, made the biggest waves of the week when she dominated the Caldwell Night Rodeo riding Shes Packin Fame. Crowther won second in the first round at Caldwell, third in the second round, fourth in the short go and first in the aggregate. She also picked up good checks at Moses Lake, Washington ($905), and Canby, Oregon ($2,423) for the balance of her week No. 3 winnings.
